The second I found out I was pregnant, I downloaded every app imaginable! I have since weeded down a few to the ones I basically use daily.

The first is Hi Mommy!

I love that every day there is something new. Sometimes a fact, sometimes a recommendation. I like how it has one just for dads. It is written as if the baby is speaking to you. The baby grows and changes in the picture as time passes. It's fun to get a notification each day about what is going on in there.

Cost: It's free!

The Bump
This app has been awesome as well! Every day it gives you a new fun fact about baby's size. There are lots of great articles that for the most part relate to the stage of pregnancy you are in. I also love the 3D look at baby and mom each week of development. There are also features like a planner for appointments, registry, and a place to upload photos. It could be a very nice online journal of your pregnancy, if you keep up with it! I can't be bothered adding all these details, but if you can remember, go for it!

Cost: This app is free as well!

Baby Story

This isn't one I use daily, but I love it for taking photos and best of all, you can use it after the baby is born. I know a lot of people get those 12 month blankets or blocks to pose baby with, but I honestly love the stickers even better! You can add to any photo. It has filters, stickers, and you can add text. The app gives you the ability to upload to social media directly, or just to your photos. It's easy to use and has lots of options!

Cost: This is a paid app unfortunately, but I think it was $4.99 and I will use it after baby is born with increased frequency i'm certain!

Babylist!

This is my main registry and the app makes it so easy to use. Who needs a computer anymore?! There is more to this app than a registry though! Each week there is a pregnancy update about baby, what's happening with your body, symptoms to expect, and links to articles!

When you finish reading your article, you can download the extension so you can pin things for your registry from ANY WEBSITE! That's right, so I have Etsy items on my baby registry, along with things from Amazon, even Walmart! It's so much more practical and the layout and design of the site is more attractive than Amazon's baby registry; sorry Amazon! You can even add a completely different registry link if you really want to set up one with a store specifically.

They also have these guides like best strollers, top 5 car seats, etc. If you're debating what to add to your registry, these are fairly helpful, or at least a good jumping off point if you have no idea what's decent.

I love it because you can buy something someplace else and mark it as purchased, so people are not locked in to using your registry's pricing. Everything can be done right in the app. I even used it to mark things I already had so I didn't get doubles.

Cost: This app is free too!

What To Expect.

I check this periodically. I like the videos they have and the articles. Those are weekly updates. There is also a huge message board and support system out there for anyone who is interested. I started out following the boards, but ended up with more anxiety. If it eases your mind though to get confirmation things are normal from other moms, this may be the place for you! I found it stressful because it's a great place to vent, but hearing other people vent about problems made me overanalyze my life and freak out about things that I was previously not worried about. If you can handle it, more power to ya!

Cost: Another free app!

Those are my tops 5! Do you have others that you use? Leave a comment below with the name and why you love it!
